I thought the kiss between Jacob and Bella was hot in this book!!  Pardon the puns... but the kissing scenes between Edwards and Bella are cold and leave a lot to be desired.  But that kiss with Jacob... ooh baby!   Anyone else with me?

However... we did spend most the book wondering why Bella even bothered with Jacob because he just became this bitter annoying boy (with bad pick up lines).

I was suprised that she put up with him to or more like shocked. I though he was so obnoxious in this book (most of the time).   But.........

That kiss was super sexy!  Through all the books I was waiting for Edward to get a little flustered!
It was kinda sad for me that thing were so hot between them only because she COULD loose control with him and he COULD loose control with her. I was a big thing missing from her relationship with Edward. With Jacob she could be human.

I am guessing you mean in terms of actual temperature because frankly...it did nothing for me!! lol...unfortunately am 'Team Edward' all the way!! so I barely even register jacob as a character!!... sorry! I know people like him... I kinda do...but not for Bella!

Reading that kiss...it was just akward for me. I felt like it may have been akward for her too and knowing that Edward knew it was happening just made it even worse for me.

I prefer Edward-kisses, but the Jacob kiss was hot in a dirty-ewww-no-why kind of way.  Maybe it's just the angst addict in me; I mostly enjoyed it for the pain it caused Edward after all the pain he'd caused Bella.

I think you are actually referring to their second kiss, correct?  I agree that it was totally hot mainly because they didn't have to worry about her being exposed to any venom and they could get into it more.  However, while I was reading it for the first time, I was totally crying my eyes out because it proved that Bella DID indeed have feelings for Jacob that she was suppressing.  I hate the whole love triangle thing and I was depressed and cried throughout most of Eclipse.

The same feelings here. I just hated Bella so much at that moment she was kissing him back. Stephenie didn't really described how paintful it must have been to Edward when he had found out Bella kissed Jacob.

i agree that it was not as WOW as any of the kisses with Edward (especially the one on the bed in eclipse^_^) but it was more physical, which adds a certain thrill. Stephenie is an amazing romantic author and, although this is slightly off topic, my favourite kiss is when Jared kisses Wanda in the Host...now THAT was HOT!
