Amidst the rumors that Brenda Song or Vanessa Hudgens are being considered for the position of Leah Clearwater, an MTV staffer weighs in on the decision, and wants your opinion too.

Well, in my opinion, I don’t like Brenda OR Vanessa. I’d like to see a whole new pick entirely.

What do you guys think? Do you like Brenda, Vanessa, or do you have another suggestion?

Well i'm with purfyoom and EdwardsBrand too.

 "Why would Vanessa – one of the stars of HSM – opt for a minor character? Even though the film is destined to be another mega hit, does she really need this role that badly? Plus, I can’t picture Gabriella Montez running around the woods growling at people."

I agree with this part of the article, i don't see her growling either.

Niether! I dont care for either of them. I find brendas voice too sqeaky, but that just might be on suite life with zach and cody. But still. I dont see brenda or vanessa protraying leah. It just wouldnt be right. I dont think bringing a disney star into the mix would be a good idea anyways...they could just create drama. They both arent professinal actors like the rest of the cast. At least get someone worthy of the role...and professinal.

I'm sorry, but my nine year old neighbor makes me watch Zach and Cody, and that one Wizard's show!! EEK! I don't think I could handle it.

Totally agree!  I am not a fan of either one and do not feel either is the best for this role.  At least they didn't try to say Miley!  UGH!

NEITHER!!! I can't stand Vanessa Hudgens! And Brenda, sorry I just don't see her stacking as Leah. Yeah, no way! Keep looking. These girls are WAY to bubbly for this role. Leah is described as being the 5 letter B-Word. I can't see any of them playing Leah.

Sick. Brenda Song is asian and Vanessa Hudgens is like.. Brazilian?! NO WAY on both of them! Q'orianka Kilcher Could work. She needs to darken up and dye her hair back dark if they ever casted her.. she actually looks Native American..

Hmm she wouldn't be bad...but she's too old. That's an automatic rule out for her. An di don't think they'll be able to afford her either.
