but you are no where close to alone thinking all that! i think thats part of the reason this website even exsists!

Yeah the series has definitely kept me very distracted. Things I used to love just lost its sizzle, like One Tree Hill, I would really get into it and watch it religiously. But once I started Twilight it just lost it's spark for me... I still love the show but it just wasn't as good anymore.
And of course I had to pick up Twilight right when Midterm Exams started so I barely studied for any of them. I have one more left (sociology) which I really need to study for, so I have to refrain from starting Breaking Dawn or else I for sure won't study for it at all. I tried studying for the others and I'd read over notes, but nothing would register in my mind because it was so filled with Twilight thoughts.
And now whenever I'm out somewhere I'll purposely look for an Edward... it's pretty sad haha

You have no idea how it is affected my life. I can't go one day without talking about Twilight. When I am in acting class, whenever we play improv games me and my friends who are Twilight freaks like me always do stuff based on Twilight. I laugh everytime and whenever we play bus stop my friends always glare at me like Edward did in the first book. It soooo funny.

wow this series has like COMPLETELY changed my life! i mean, like others, i was going through a REALLY bad time...well it was just starting. I read Twilight in like record book reading time for me and like couldn't stop thinking about it or talking about it. I was so into it I would cry after i stoped reading it because i thought it was real. I read it right before my life was shattered...i mean i thought this guy was respectible, honest, and like trustworthy. I found out that it wasn't true about him and he ruined my life and hurt me badly...i'm still pushin off the emotions i feel about that even though it happened in June this year. but when ever i felt sad or hated reality i thought and/or read Twilight. I threw New Moon at the wall and refused to read it for like 30-45 minutes after Edward left and I wailed like a baby. my mom thought i was crazy HAHA. *sigh* but i'm still hooked and i only own New Moon and Breaking Dawn and i'm trying to get my mom to at least get me Twilight so i can read it again before the movie comes out. we're a little tight on money, my mom got remarried and refused to let me go live with my dad...kinda opposite of Bella eh? and it's so boring here...so i spend my time on here reading stories, looking at pictures, watchin videos. I don't know like what the heck i'd be doing with all my spare time if Twilight wasn't in my life!!! just thinking of all the ''Twilight Time" in my life...it like is pretty much all the time...i feel weird when i'm not thinking about it...and i always am reminded of it or can make a reference out of any conversation =] hidden talent ;-] *sigh* this is long so I'm gonna end...haha

<3 ya'll...at least here i'm not seen as crazy...hahaha peek a BOO

Well... I would have to say that this series has certainly changed the way i look at books. I never use to read as much as i do now. Harry Potter didn't have that spark that i was looking for, until i saw a girl carrying around this little black book, called Twilight. Immediately i looked it up on Wiki. But as much as i wanted to own it, i forgot the next day. My neighbor/friend came over one day and showed me the book. Oh i loved the cover, the pale skin was just so mesmerizing. But the back of the book caught my eye. The description, I had to read it. And this time i didn't forget, I bought the book the next day along with New moon. And read in in under 3 days. It was soo good. And my mom was even impressed. I use to dream a lot about Edward and oh, i wish i could become a Vampire. I even have my powers down. New Moon was probably the worse. I actually wanted my dog to devour it. But after reading it a few times, it wasn't all bad. I felt Bella's pain while reading it, and i felt like slapping Edward. I even got my neighbor to read Twilight. And she knows everything about the characters. Freaky. But soon i read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Which took a month. I started to go to the parties. And even a few signing. My mom is kinda sick and tired of all this 'Kyaahh, Kyaah, Kyaah... stuff. And Edward This and Edward That...'
LOL.

I really wish Edward existed. But he kinda does, in every guy. If you have a boyfriend. I'm sure you look at him as Edward or Jacob. Or even maybe an Emmett or Jasper.

Global, Its too bad women are taking your holding doors open for them  and gentlemanly ways for granted! It can be a rare thing these days and its so wonderful to hear that it is still important to some men!  Cheesy

I think we have all fallen into the "Oh my god Twilight isnt real and my real life cant compare so it sucks!" syndrome at some point or another. I did, and after a while, I actually valued the great things in my life more than before so hopefully it will come around for most of you guys that are a bit bummed out!

like leia cullen my story is similar.
my best friend betryed me with lies of how he loved me.
my family strted falling apart i seperated myself from lots of my friends since i was never one to show emotion.
a girl who sat next to me in my english class overheard me talking bout my problems to a close friend of mine in the class walked up to me and said read it, i think it will help.
and the next day i brought twilight back to her and thanked her while reading the book it just made me happy forgetting about reaality i tthink that was the best feeling ive had since my brother passed away two years ago.
now im completly obsessed and when ever i want to get away i start reading the books all over again(i just had to own them i went and bought the set =])

Well I can say after I watched the movie ( as I havn't gotten to the books yet ), I felt like it's fine to be myself. I seem to (for some nonsense reason) hide what I really like from people. I am not afraid to say "I AM A TWILIGHT FANATIC!!!" now and buy their t shirts and wear them proud! It's something I am sooo into, like my fantasy world come true. And I'm going to let the world know what I like!

Twilight really changed my life.

First of all, the death of my father, I got depressed, and wanted to kill myself. Then, I read Twilight, and it got me out of depression.

Second, it learned me how to love a girl.

It also made me more open, I talk more now.

Twilight saved me, teached me, helped me.

Twilight has drastically changed my life! In truth, it was a bit empty and boring before I discovered Twilight! I'm fairly new to it all (I just read Twilight in October!) but I love it so much... now my walls are covered by Twilight posters, and my mind is divided into two halves - one half completely occupied by the Twilight saga, and the other half for boring stuff.  Snarky I would be a much less angry person right now, too... I become fairly annoyed whenever somebody I know bashes Twilight, and I stop interacting with them. Right now, I would be much less proud of my paleness and cold hands, hehe! If I never discovered Twilight, I wouldn't have dreamt so many countless dreams. Without Twilight in my life, I have no idea what I would be like right now.

Twilight is really comforting to me. From reading it i've learned that you need to be yourself. It's not about how much make up you wear and how good you are at stuff, how tan you are, nothing.-you'll find someone that loves you unconditionally just by being yourself..and thats comforting to me, especially since i'm the type of person whos very self concious and always worried about never finding that 'right person' for me.

I really wish SM knew how much her books affected all of her devoted fans. It's not just a good read...and I think if she knew that she might continue her writings of MS and maybe more after that.
