I knew it was time to phase, I needed to check in too see if we had any leads on the red head. I went outside and before I knew it I was in wolf form. Nice of you to join us Jake. AGHHH I thought aloud. So whats going on? I asked. Sam's voice was the next one I heard. We smelled her she was close and then bam, she was gone. She is fast, and tricky. I wanted this vamp to be non-exsistant. So do we! Paul said.

Paul: we were running the circuit when we felt jacob phase, all he could think about was killing the redhead.  *Oh and you don't think we want her dead too!* i screamed as loud as my head could stand.

Sometimes I wanted to just kill Paul. Shut up Jake, like you could. Pauls voice said, and he showed an image to me that was uncalled for. I ran faster. Jake please stop. You need to focus if we have any chance of getting her. Sams voice said to me. Sam I can kill her, I just need to get my hands...

Bella

Each time she woke up too early morning light she was always surprised to find she'd made it threw another night and she'd continue to be anxious until she knew Charlie was alive too., she'd been increasingly on edge latley jumping at any sounds and Charlie had noticed blaming it on Jacobs absence..a week had passed and she still hadn't heard anything, she'd tried calling but never got anywhere, on Thursday she'd even sat in her truck for an hour debating on weather or not she should just go to La Push. It was now Saturday she couldn't stand it anymore, it had ben a wek and no vampire had come for her. She was going, she showered got dressed and headed out to the truck and headed for La Push.

I ran home I needed a shower we had been running all night. Sam, Paul, came inside and waited for me. I shifted and went inside I let the water run and then I got out and dressed. I really needed to see Bella. I missed her so much it hurt. Just then I heard Paul. "What the hell is she doing here?" Bella! I knew it. I heard her truck tires come down the gravel. I quickly put my jeans on. I was about to go out the door when Sam stood in my way. "Make her go away." He said. "Do not be nice." I glared at him, she was my best friend how could I do that.. "No." I said and he growled... "Jake its for her safety." He said and squeezed my shoulder. I sighed. I walked outside and saw her. SHe looked beautiful. I had missed her face. I had missed her scent. I wanted to run to her to hug her but instead she looked like she was going to kill me.

It didn't take long to drive down there, on the drive down she'd told herself that when she got there she wouldn't move until she saw him, talked too him she'd wait all night if she had too. She parked the car and cut the engine turning she unbuckled her seatbelt and as she turned back around she saw him step out his front door..or someone did because it didn't look like Jacob from the distance..they were taller..shoulder's broader and there hair was cropped short covering there head in a inky black gloss of spikes it couldn't be Jake could it??..she opened her door and climbed out and slowly started approached "Jacob?" she whispered..

Her voice was amazing. I wanted to hold her to kiss her. "Bella, what are you doing here?" The words stabbed at her. I hated doing this too her but there was no other way. "What did he do to you." She accused me. I grabbed her and pulled her furthur away from my house. "It's not like that.." She cut me off. "How could you Jake, what has he done to you?" Her eyes were tearing up and I wanted to cry for her. She looked appauled and I wanted to make her better.

She watched as he approached..what had happened to him??.. he looked sooo different and definitely less than pleased to see her. She stared back at him uncomprehensive .."Uhh what am I doing here??.. Jake..the question is what's happened to you??.. what have they done to you?? her tone slightly mad but full of concern too. "You haven't answered my calls.. or whenever I come here your out with your new friends.. and don't tell me its nothing because I know its not.. I saw Quil earlier.. I know somethings wrong?..what has he done to you??" sje said accusingly her eyes stinging with tears.

Her questions hurt, I wanted to reach out to her to hold her to kiss her. I would definitly think of some way to tell her but for now I had to hurt her. "You shouldn't be here." I told her. I glared down at her I must have looked scary. She had so many tears and it was killing me to do to her what he had. I was getting angry at that thought and I started to shake. I couldn't morph. I heard Paul from the house, "He is gonna loose it." And then i heard Sam shushing him.

Everytime I tried to get into Jake's head to help him out or just to let him lnow I was there for him no matter what Sam would shush me. If Sam was Alpha what was I, the second one to be changed and now Jake would take over eventually and I think Sam knew that but wouldn't acknowledge it. Jake buddy I got your back bro no worries we'll get red don't worry

Her jaw clenched as he told her she shouldn't be here..she didn't know weather it was from anger or hurt, maybe it was a mixture of both. "Why.. why Jake??... I thought we were friends and all of a sudden, you just stop taking my calls..or letting me come see you" she said raising her voice alittle.."And don't tell me its nothing because I know its not.. I know Sam's behind this..just tell me what they've done to you Jake.. please.." she begged stepping towards him.. "I remeber all that stuff you told me..I wanna help" she said reaching out to him..

"Don't touch me." I glared at her hard. I wanted her to touch me to kiss me to hug me. I wanted to wrap my whole body around hers. She looked so small so weak. She wanted to cry and I was causing this.. I was just as bad as... No Jake, No your not. I smiled a little and she reacted. "It's just not the time right now." I said a little nicer. She bit her lip and ran a hand through her hair.

Her head was spinning, what had gotten into him, why was he being so cold towards her?? and when she reached out to him he pulled back practically yelling that she'd not to touch him the tone of his voice and the hard cold glare on his face shaking her to the core.  Tears started to trickle down her cheeks.."Jake..what.." she trailed off  unable to continue biting her lip to  stop it trembling and ran a hand threw her hair. Suddendly he spoke again telling her it just wasn't the right time right now, a small smile on his lips.. she furrowed her eyesbrows, what was going on?? one minute he was yelling at her the next smiling she couldn't figure it out she wanted to call him out on it but she couldn't find the words "We'll when will be the right time" she mumbled pityfully.

I looked at her...When would be the right time.. Then the idea hit me like a ton of bricks.. I would have her guess, I would go to her house tonight in the middle of the night and tell her to think about the beach. I could do this I just couldn't phase til after tonight. I had to do this. I looked at Bella. "I need to go back inside now. You should go home." I knew I was breaking her heart. I knew that she was cracking because she grabbed her stomach. It killed me to see her like this.. to see that I was the one causing this. I wanted to hold her to tell her. She would understand I mean she dated a leech. I wanted her so bad. She nodded and I walked away from her. I went inside and Sam put his hand on my sholder. She sat in her car for a while and then I left. We went to Emily's house. It had to get better. I would tell her tonight.

Bella

When Edward left it was one of the most painful experiences she'd ever had to have gone threw, and she'd never wanted to experience anything like it again, but this had been pretty close. Maybe in some ways the pain she was feeling now it was payback, payback because she was using him, using him to heal the wound that Edward's departure had ripped into her chest when she knew of his feelings for her and that she only felt friendship for him and that would never change. He stared back at her still with that cold expression and told her he had to get back and she should go home, he didn't answer her question about when would be the right time, she just nodded pityfully and turned to leave not pushing back which normally she would have done, what little spirt she'd had left from Edward's departure seemed to have left her. She reached her truck and climbed in, tears spilling miserably down her porclain cheeks  she used a hand to wipe them away as her other hand shakily put the key in the ignition, she turned it the truck stuttering to life her eyes falling again on the gapping hole where's she'd clawed out the stereo Emmett had given her on that fateful birthday. She sniffed back the sobs as she sat there lifting her eyes to the window an just staring out ahead of her before finally putting the truck in reverse to make the drive home. Was this the last time she'd ever step foot in La Push, she didn't know but it was very possible.
