aw, that sounds fun. i'm an education major right now, but i'm still really confused if that's what i want to do. it's nice to hear about someone in the same field who enjoys it.

Well I'm not a teacher, it must be different as a teacher spending 8 hours with a roomful of kids but lots of my colleagues enjoy it and some are young too.  If you are gonna teach elementary, get trained on the Primary Years Programme and after a year or two of experience, try the international school route.  It's very enriching, being exposed to all those different culture.  I practically bask in it.  LOL   I love having the kids around too.  They make my day sometimes even as they frustrate me.   Of course usually it's the adults that can be quite a trial.

yeah, i could never teach middle or high school. so, elementary is perfect for me. & i'll definitely consider international schools! that sounds very promising, and probably a lot more exciting than public schools here in tennessee. but, i'm still completely undecided about what i want to do. & i know what you mean about adults, i get along with children more than i do the older people! they're just more real to me. i work at a preschool and i catch myself have a full on conversation with a 2 year old! hah.
