To See Pattinson’s Future, Look a Little Further Back

    In this article about the challenges that will face Robert Pattinson as he moves along in his career through and beyond the Twilight films, the author makes several valid points. However, I think the biggest and most relevant parallel is staring right at us and he manages to dance right around it. The heart-throb-turned-superstar that Pattinson most resembles to me is not Orlando Bloom being held up by Johnny Depp, but the one and only Johnny Depp himself.

    Reading the books, the image of Edward Cullen in my head is nearly identical to a young Johnny Depp; think 21 Jump Street with an Edward Scissorhands complexion.

Everything about Rob reminds me of Johnny Depp, especially after seeing and reading interviews he's done. But physically the first time I saw Twilight and the Cullens entered the cafeteria the look and expression on Jackson Rathbone's face was almost a dead ringer for Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands.

I really dont see Johnny Depp in Robert maybe in Edward but not Rob i have to admit though he is trying hard to get there by doing different movies like Ashes but again he even said he was scared of the gay scenes. So i'm sorry but Johnny Depp is always willing to do gay or dress up as a woman and Rob hasnt done that. Seriously i'm sorry hes not Johnny Depp but he might get there anything can happen.
